The room choices begin with the Superior Room at 38 sq. metres (409 sq. ft.) and move up to the Sukhothai Suite, “The Suite of Kings “, boasting an impressive 198 sq. metres (2132 sq. ft.). Equally impressive are their luxurious bathrooms. Like the Executive Deluxe Suite’s stunning 25 sq. metre (269 sq. ft.) space with teakwood floors enhanced by mirrors on every wall. You can relax in royal comfort on the silk chaise lounge in the centre of the room or soak in the over-sized bathtub, but if you’re in a hurry there’s also a separate shower enclosure. Add a walk-in closet, hair dryer, phone, and comfortable bathrobe, and you may never want to go home. In addition to all this luxury, here’s a list of some other amenities you’ll find:

Dining
One of my favorite things about traveling is discovering the local rich and exotic foods. Thailand never disappoints and neither does the Sukhothai with seven very different dining options right in the hotel. Starting with traditional Thai fare at Caledon, amazing seafood at the Colonade, to classic Italian at La Scala.
The Salon serves a selection of beverages and cocktails, light snacks, and even a Chocolate Buffet on the weekends. A gourmet shop called the Thimian specializes in coffee, tea, chocolate truffles and delicious pastries. For a more casual experience there’s the Poolside Cafe & Bar where you can enjoy an exotic range of health drinks while overlooking the pool. Finally, there’s a private dining facility for meeting or events.
Recreation
For sightseeing, all the best Thailand has to offer is an easy commute from the hotel, including; shopping, recreation, and nightlife. There are several shopping districts like the Bangrak Market with its dizzying array of food. Or maybe Siam Paragon is more for you. It’s the largest shopping centre in South-East Asia with over one-hundred luxury brands. There’s also the Central World Plaza, a new shopping centre for the fashion-conscious, featuring top local and international brands. Tuesday through Saturday there’s a great jazz band called “Rodel & Ricardo” who kick up the evening from 18.45 – 23.45 hrs.
Maybe you’d like to experience the heartbeat of Thailand at the central nightlife district along Silom or Surawongse roads. Or for a more relaxed sightseeing experience you might check out the Saphan Taksin Pier for interesting boat tours along the River of Kings.
